Tent and Dave Race to Florida

Airport delays and all, I still beat the overnight shipment of my new REI Half Dome 2 HC Tent (sold out!) which was on major discount. As is recommended, I tested it out in the confort on my parents' apt and it passes the smell test. My Dad dipped his foot inside to show how spacy it is. I agreed. Heck, we could thrown in hundreds of feet in there.

But we decided that with that many feet, it would no longer pass the smell test. Then I asked him to take a picture of me and my new friend, but received a decapitation instead. It's ok though, I was sporting my Bad Brilliance shirt that comes with a face (a smily no less). (Thanks Andrew, I think I'm gonna take that shirt on the trip in case my head gets chopped off again.)

I tested knocking on the tent (even though the door was open). It's just proper courtesy. But I doubt even th mosquitos would hear knocking on a plastic mesh (minus 1 point for REI).

No one was inside to allow me to come in so I decided to lock my knees like a cow and sleeep right outside the tent. That's harder than biking 100 miles in one day!

Finally I seem to have sleep walked/crawled into the tent. That works.
